The staff are supportive and encouraging, and communicate with the children in a friendly, positive and courteous manner to establish a warm and caring relationship with each child in their care. Each day a staff member will tell you of your child’s day.
The Keyworker System
Every child in Subicare has a dedicated Keyworker. A keyworker is the key person who co-ordinates information about the individual child’s needs and development and shares this with parents and other workers to maintain consistency and continuity of care. They provide a vital link with parents and carers and are often crucial in settling children into the care areas. This role may also include the planning and record keeping for individual children and being responsible for changing and feeding your children.
